Sweet Munchies (Season 1) (Hindi Dubbed) – Storyline :
Park Jin-seong runs a quaint late-night restaurant where customers simply choose which drinks they want, and their appetizers are chosen by them, who customize the dishes to match their drinks. Make accordingly. It aims to provide warmth and comfort to diners through delicious food and excellent customer service. They also get a great measure of happiness from seeing customers enjoying their food. At the behest of one of his regular customers, he becomes the host of a new variety show called “Midnight Snack Couple”, which leads him to popularity and fame.
Regular customer Kim A Jin is a passionate PD. She usually has a smile on her face and always looks on the bright side. His only hope comes from his love of food and drink. After years of toiling as a crew member on production teams, she finally gets her break as a PD when she convinces Park Jin Seung to be the host of her TV show.
Kang Tae Wan is a successful fashion designer. He hosts his own fashion TV program and gets to know Park Jin Seung and Kim Ae Jin when he is brought on the variety show “Midnight Snack Couple” as Jin Seung’s stylist. As the three work together, they eventually become involved in an unusual love triangle.

Sweet Munchies Season 1 2020 (Hindi Dubbed) Korean Series Review:
The first episodes were understandable: they were building the plot, atmosphere, etc. They were really nice, charming. But there were a lot of prejudices about homosexuals, even by people who thought they were open-minded (just listen to what the main female lead said…). And after those few episodes, the storyline became a complete mess.
I mean, the whole thing was about gay romance, there were only a few moments with “possible gay love”. I think the drama could be better if they actually built the plot around the lie of being gay: Park would probably develop feelings for Kang. I’m not saying they should have ended up as a couple, I’m just saying the main plot wasn’t even developed…there was just too much focus on the same-sex romance and it was disappointing. . I really regretted watching it till the end, I really should have given it up when I saw that there was nothing real about gay romance/feelings.
What’s more… the original gay romance was a big mess. The girl was a regular at the bistro, but Park never thought much of her. She never even asked his name unless he was bragging about his job. And since then, he began to crush on her? Something that was also really stupid, it’s making Park always talk about it, like when he buys food at the beach or when he chooses something. It’s really stupid because the character never hides the fact that he has a crush on her, it’s so obvious.
