Peter Pan Wendy 2023 Movie – Storyline:
Live-action adaptation of JM Barrie’s classic story of a boy who won’t grow up and recruits three young siblings in London to join him on a magical adventure on the magical island of Neverland.
Directed by David Lowery from a screenplay he co-wrote with Toby Holbrooks. Jim Whittaker served as producer on the Walt Disney Pictures production, a live-action adaptation of Walt Disney’s 1953 animated film Peter Pan, which in turn was based on the 1904 play Peter Pan. Or, The Boy Who Won’t Grow Up (also known as Peter and Wendy) by JM Barrie. The film stars Alexander Moloney (in his film debut) and Ever Anderson in the title role. Jude Law, Yara Shahidi, Alyssa Wapanathak, Joshua Pickering, Jacoby Jupp, Molly Parker, Alan Tudyk and Jim Gaffigan also appear in supporting roles. The story follows Peter Pan and Wendy, who travel to the magical world of Neverland with Wendy’s brothers and Peter’s best friend Tinker Bell. Along the way, Wendy embarks on an adventure that will change her life and encounters Peter’s archenemy, Captain Hook.

The songs were decent. The characters were good. Overall the story reminded me of the Peter Pan books I have read. This is one of the reasons why it was not released in theaters. It was nice to see it on Disney+. My kid enjoyed it. Overall I recommend. These are good family movies to relax and watch. Was it perfect, no but I wasn’t expecting it.
Funny how bad ratings popped up as soon as the movie was released. Doubt any of them have seen it. Just wanted to hate his political views on DisneyBC. Too bad those 1 star ratings can’t be deleted if the person has never even seen the movie but just came here to trash/troll Disney.
