Story of Mother of the Bride 2024:

Lana’s daughter Emma returns from London and announces that she is getting married next month. Things get even more complicated when Lana learns that the man who stole Emma’s heart is the son of the man who broke her up years ago.

One arrives at an island resort for her daughter’s wedding — but she’s surprised to see the groom’s father, who he hasn’t seen in years.

Review of Mother of the Bride (2024):

Mother of the Bride is a solid romantic comedy if you love this genre like I do. I wanted to see it because of Miranda Cosgrove, I loved her on Drake & Josh and iCarly growing up and have always been a huge fan. He played his role as always. Brooke Shields plays the clumsy and awkward mother very well. Overall, it was a solid all around cast. I thought it was a little silly that Miranda’s character didn’t even tell her mom she was dating and then dropped the big marriage bomb on her. Also, at the very end when Brook Shields and Benjamin Bratt’s characters came together I thought they could add more there. They get together and then the movie ends abruptly. They could have added another wedding scene there too or fast-forwarded it into the future. Other than that I wouldn’t change a thing. This is a good movie! I recommend it and it is family friendly if you want to watch it with the whole family!
