Elite: Season 3 (2020) – Storyline:
(Elite S03 | Netflix) All Episodes 2020 TV Series Students enter their final semester at Las Encinas. In the flash-forward plot, the students are interviewed about Polo’s death during their graduation party. Polo and Caytana are abandoned by their companions with the exception of Valerio. Samuel and Guzman continue their plot to bring justice for Polo’s crimes. Lou and Nadia compete for scholarships at Columbia University, which leads to the two forming a mutual friendship. Ender is diagnosed with leukemia and begins chemotherapy, causing friction between him and his loved ones.
On the night of their graduation, in a drunken stupor, Lou accidentally stabs Polo, who stumbles and falls to his death. Samuel, Guzmán, Ander, Omar, Nadia, Carla, Valerio, Rebecca and Cayetana agree to cover up the murder. Unable to find a suspect, Polo’s death is eventually ruled a suicide and his parents tell the police that he has confessed to Marina’s murder. Two months later, Samuel, Guzman, Ander and Rebecca return to repeat their final year with Omar, who has enrolled as a full-time student. Random review from IMDB: I have always been watching media. But I have never seen anything like it. It leaves nothing behind in its determination to expose the worst aspects of human nature…..and some of the best. In all its decadent glory.
In doing so, it strikes hard at class conflict, without providing much balance to the morality of wealth. Most of the heroes here are poor, though perfect and the villains are far from rich. Meanwhile, the teachers, administrators and police take all the heat, while the kids claim the glory. But that doesn’t ruin what was otherwise an unflinching, big look at the nature of desire, dependency, jealousy, friendship, loyalty, lust, and evil.
